The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
by C.S. Lewis
Adapted by Glyn Robbins
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Samuel French
"Once there were four children whose names were Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy..." So begins the story of a simple game of Hide and Seek that opens a door to a once peaceful land of Narnia.
This delightful adaptation of C.S. Lewis classic story is seen through the eyes of the four siblings who stumble into a magical land of good and evil.
Here they encounter the Wicked White Witch, representing the forces of evil, and the King of the Beasts, Aslan the Lion, representing all that Is good and right.
Along with the help of their friends such as Mr Tumnus the faun and Mr and Mrs Beaver The Children must battle to save not only their brother Edmund from the evil persuasions of the White Witch but also the land of Narnia allowing good to triumph over evil, and restore Narnia to its original beauty.
