The Ghost Train
A comedy thriller by Arnold Ridley
An Amateur Production
A foolish man accidentally strands six passengers at the remote country railway station of Fal Vale on the South Cornwall Joint railway. Despite warnings from the stationmaster of a ghostly train, they decide to stay the night in the cheerless and gloomy waiting room.
Soon they begin to regret their decision as ghostly and not so ghostly apparitions materialise, but is the phantom locomotive really as supernatural as it seems?
The class thriller, written by 'Godfrey' of Dad's Army, remains a favourite of amateur theatre companies and audiences throughout the country, this new production continues that tradition, the macabre mixed with comedy, humour with ghosts.
