Nottingham Arts Theatre presents
Daisy Pulls It Off
A comedy by Denise Deegan
An Amateur Production
Set in the Grangewood School for Young Ladies in 1927, this enchanting tale is brimming full of old fashioned values, midnight feasts and a jolly good adventure story to boot.
Daisy Meredith is the first scholarship girl to be accepted by the elite Grangewood School, a boarding school, where she faces the prejudice of both staff and pupils. Needless to say all does not run smoothly.
Daisy, bounding with energy, searches for the missing treasure that will save the fortunes of the school, with the help of her best chum Trixie Martin. Watch Daisy fighting to gain acceptance in the snobby confines of Grangewood. Will she succeed?
Will Grangewood defeat Vearncombe in the crunch hockey match? Will there be jam for tea?
